After a competitive creative pitch, Honda engaged us to refresh the brand and connect with Gen Z while retaining its loyal, long-standing customer base. With the opportunity to create something genuinely distinctive, I concepted and presented two hero brand characters, Kenji and Ellie, designed to personify the brand. Each character embodied an element of Honda’s hybrid technology through the interplay of combustion and electric.
Together, they established an ownable and memorable brand world deployed across TV, OOH, digital, and social. I served as Creative Director across both phases and directed the Phase One TVC.

To launch Honda's first-ever EV in the New Zealand market, we leveraged Kenji & Ellie and brought on board a new character - their son Stevie, who embraced the brand ethos of 'dreaming' to bring the e:N1 to life.
